Summer solstice how I miss you
As you boar down with summer sun
The grass was green, and the waters were so right
But here we are now freezing
These gusts of winds – far more than breezy
As winter creeps in and brings its depth of night
Poetry, lyrics, other words and art…

It’s good to see another poetic offering from you, Kevin! I hope you’ve been keeping well.

Hi Liz… Thank you! The muse is on an extended something or another and refuses to come out and stay… Whatcha gonna do? Ugh! Always so good to hear from you! 😉

Yes, one’s muse can be quite fickle at times, with those extended something or anothers.

I love this atmospheric poem, Kevin. The darkness descends, but there’s magic in this liminal time of year. 🙂
