I STILL WEEP… a poem of loss

how to find a ring in the grass

Turning and turning

Around and around

Looking for something

That cannot be found

Lost on the playground

Or out in the park

While walking the dog

Just after dark

Restless and queasy

I cannot find sleep

That ring was my lifeline

She’s still gone – I still weep

  1. Bittersweet, loss of all kinds touches our lives in so many ways. Yesterday morning I woke up with the pang of my adopted parents loss on my heart strings and I received a touching message from my aunt that allowed that love and loss to flow through me with more ease. The message from her was like my parents sending a warm hug through my aunt, a little blessing tucked away in the day just for me. ❤️🤗😊

    1. Awe! God’s little touch… My precious Cathi (wife) was adopted, or “chosen,” as she says… ;-)))
By the way, I started a YouTube channel for my painting. One video posted with more to come, obviously. I did two last night and didn’t record either, so, I had some fun with my “oops” and will post that, too!

    1. Yeah, I’m still adjusting to being on camera. I have no issues with it, but there is still a learning curve I am transitioning along. All good! It’s fun! ;-))) I’m so glad you enjoyed it! Thank you for watching it and your continued support! You are gem! ;-)))
