Lightning coursed across the sky
In scarlet streaks of crimson
Thunder shook the earth
All the way down to its core
Mountains trembled and oceans whipped in fury
Stars fled their celestial homes
And, as they crashed onto, into and through our planet
I thanked God for His grace
Great post

I cannot remember the last storm we had, must be time for a good one!
Your poem reminded me just how much I love them…
