NOT ON YOUR OWN
Sometimes the only way to get there
Is to take a leap of faith.
Sometimes the ones you think who don’t care
Are the ones who save the day.
Sometimes we find ourselves in situations,
Between a rock and hard place, too…
But never ever doubt in Him, my friend,
Because He’ll always lead you through…
Through days of darkness…
Through shadowed fields…
Keep hold of His robe…
His hands can heal…
And when you think you’re walking out there all alone…
Look back, you’ll see one set of footprints…
And know…
You’re not on your own…
You wonder why the sad things happen,
And in your mind, you have your doubts.
If God is real why do we suffer?
Where is the love the Bible touts?
But, faith is not something we handle
Like the leaves upon a tree.
No, some may fall while others flourish
Like in the desert and the sea.

His hands can heal…
