TRUST
If my words have meaning for you,
I hope there’s wisdom and there’s truth.
I’ll never force my own opinion,
No, I will never just assume.
Trust is a strong virtue,
But like glass, it too can break.
Guard it like no other,
And for granted never take.
Growth is in forgiveness,
When you truly do believe.
Like broken hearts, you too can heal,
When never you deceive.
And yes, hope springs eternal,
But it’s love that holds the key.
Use it often, use it always,
Use it unhesitatingly.
